How We Measure
Pieces collected and kept over the years — garments that continue to shape the eye behind Tea Time Vintage.
Understanding Our Sizing
At Tea Time Vintage, every garment is carefully measured by hand to help you find the best possible fit. Because vintage sizing varies significantly across decades, measurements are far more reliable than the tagged size alone.
All pieces are measured laid flat using a soft measuring tape.
How We Measure
Bust
Measured across the fullest part of the chest from armpit to armpit, then doubled.
Waist
Measured at the narrowest point of the garment, typically the natural waistline.
Hips
Measured across the fullest part of the hips, approximately 8–9 inches below the waist.
Length
Measured from the shoulder seam to the hem for dresses and tops, or from the waistband to the hem for skirts and pants.
Sleeve Length
Measured from the shoulder seam to the cuff.
Inseam
Measured along the inner leg seam from crotch to hem.
Shoulder Width
Measured across the back from shoulder seam to shoulder seam.
